Time to love on to a different color.

Been enquiring about getting a frozen color for the car. After many discussion, found a paint shop that I'm comfortable with. Carla's been there for a week, will take another week for the Painter to complete the job

Progress so far

Brand new M3s goes for usd300k. I'm glad I got mine used a little under 3 years, costed me way lesser than that.

Always wanted a frozen color, and since the yellow paintwork quality wasn't exactly top notch, it's a perfect excuse to change color.

The car will have a new GTS5 bumper on. Same wheels, Im tempted to spray it lime green or blood red.

Astonishing pictures...the yellow looked good to me! You are definitely taking it to the next level.

Thanks for the kind words. The yellow while stunning , was obviously too loud and attracted the unwanted attention of local cops. Got two tickets in the past month alone for having the akra evo exhuast.

Went back to the paint shop today and snapped a couple more photos

Wrap will cost one third the price I paid for spray paint. Not cost effective. More importantly, a wrap over the previous yellow color will not look good as certain panels like the insides of the door will not be covered.

With the body paint almost done, it's only days before I see the completed works.

The rims are next off to be repeated a glossy black

No bloody red wheels. Some say its too bengish lol

With just another couple days before I can pick up the car, I have some photos that has the original bumper installed. The will be mounting back the side skirts and paint the oem spoiler to match the new paint before this weekend

Looks awesome. What does the top of the rear spoiler look like? Is it AW or CF?

It's actually a cf m performance rear spoiler that has a body tint at the tip like the CRT style. For the new look I decided to do with the original small rear spoiler painted in the frozen Matt color of the car

had the car for a day and took come pictures.

cant really fault the paintwork.but the fitment of the body panels such as the fender and bonnet and bumper... i guess it can be better. will remind the workshop to make the gaps smaller when they are installing the GTS5 bumper next week.
