Sorry about th accident. My car sorta looked like that when it was in an accident back in July. Probably a little worse than that. Total damage to mine was around 16k. I tried my best to get them to total it out, but the dollar amount was not high enough to consider it a write off. Hopefully things work out for you.

I'm sorry to see you go through that, those pictures are horiffic. After I was in my accident, about a year ago, a buddy of mine told me, "Forget about the car; just thank God you're O.K."

Glad to hear you made it out ok, but what I REALLY want to know is what did you do to that kid in the Lexus...and I hope it involved a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

I didn't even get a chance to talk to this kid. As soon as the accident happened, BMW assist was on the speakerphone telling me that an ambulance, police firedepartment, and tow truck was on the way. Needless to say, there were 2 firetrucks, 5 cop cars, 3 undercover cars, 2 towtrucks and 1 ambulance within 10 min. It must have been a really slow day for these guys, and they all stood around for about 1/2 hour talking w/ me asking me all sorts of questions about the car. Anyways, I was so sore when getting out of the car, that even though I was ready to kill him, I wouldn't be able to physically do anything to him. But hey, shit happens and others make mistakes...sometimes big ones.

So sorry to hear about this! It's just painful looking at your poor E90 AND your hand! But like everyone's said, your health is the most important thing, so it's good that you fared relatively well...
...and that there'll be one less Lexus on the roads soon

sorry to dud about your car, but your still here to tell the tail, and it will be a good talking point for u for weeks to come with your m8's it looks like the e90 stood up to its name and the front took most of the bump,u wanna check underneath too for your self before they take it apart, allways a good talking point for a replacement if its twisted or moved, i agree they do a good job fixing but i still think it never drives the same pulls left or right or at high speeds, but good luck on your recovery

That sucks man. You're a good sport for taking and posting pics.
Anyway, if it was a young kid driving the Lexus you can take some pleasure in knowing that the insurance companies will be screwing him with sky high premiums for years to come.... |

Oh, man! That really sux. Glad to see that you are for the most part OK.
Wife and I had a similar collision a couple years ago when an Escort blew a stop sign. We were on the way to our anniversary dinner.

Sorry to hear about that. I see idiots blowing stop signs and red lights every day.
I'm curious to see how much the insurance appraisal is. I'm guessing you got about 10K worth of damage there. |
