991 turbo S...interesting
Saw this the other day and saw something interesting in this vid. 991 turbo S comes with an automatic adjusting front lip. Air fills up and the lip folds out. Or with a push of a button. I can only imagine how many lips would have been saved in these forums. I would still go with gt3 and wreck the lip but interesting nonetheless. Or is this something thats been done before?

I had a dream I was ordering my 991 Turbo and the dealer told me that Porsche is the first company to come out with a folding lip. Pretty cool! I can't wait until tonight when I get it delivered.

It bases out at $182K. So I guess that's how most of us are going to take delivery. And its also the reason GTRs will continue to sell.

997.2 TT was available as manual tranny but most were sold with PDK, much the same story with M3s and DCT. |

I don't think its necessarily about Porsche assuming we didn't want a slower car. IMO most exotic cars in general are just getting too fast and powerful for most people to handle manually. Curious to know what the final numbers were for MT vs DCT m3's sold now that you mention it....

And if you drove the Speciale the way you can and should drive a Turbo/S it would fall apart eSpeciale quickly.
Always has been the best all around supercar you can drive daily in the world. |
