It's about $5,000 for Individual color, iirc. Go with Steve Thomas BMW, and ask for Ryan Amico. He had me approved by Individual and good to go for a Moonstone E90, but then I chickened out and went with AW instead.

I would highley recommend you contact Ryan. He has sold a high % of the indiv here on the forums and also quite a few that are not forum members. Just let him know what your looking for and he will make it happen and at a price you will be happy with

Ryan's pricing is good, but living in CT you're looking at $1500 or so to ship a car to you from CA,a long drive home from PCD or a really long drive from CA. It may be worth spending more to get it locally, or at least just a few hours away. I'd contact all of the dealer's within a reasonable radius from your home and see what kind of response you get, working up from invoice price.

I was under the impression that you could get a courtesy pickup at a local dealer.

Ryan Amico @ Steve Thomas BMW and David Aviles @ eurocarsonline.com (east coast) are the most prolific and well-reapected sellers of Individual M3s on this forum.

Many dealers don't accept courtesy pickups, unfortunately. They're not required to, and I guess I can see why they choose not to. They'd be spending their people's time unloading your car, prepping it for delivery, going over it with you, etc even though you didn't buy it from them. True, you might go back there for service, but unfortunately the sales and service depts in a single dealer often function as completely separate companies, with neither one considering the interests of the other. For example, it might make sense for Service to spend more to get more options on their loaner cars rather than buying strippers so that Sales has a more appealing inventory when those loaners are retired or to make customers more inclined to consider getting a new car after spending time in a nicely optioned loaner, but nope, Service just tries to keep spending down.

That was not presented as a viable option when I emailed Ryan. I think most dealers won't help you much getting a car from someone else. David Aviles may be a better option for you since you are on the East Coast.

Many dealers may not but it doesn't mean they all don't and doesn't mean that the ones close to a prospective buyer won't. Doesn't hurt to ask since it could save you a nice chunk of change.

Courtesy Delivery works the best if you do the arrangement with your local dealer in person instead of going thru the out state dealer to do it for you. You might be surprised depending on your personal relationship with your dealer.

My Courtesy Delivery cost me $0 after talking with my local dealer. My M3 (ED) was bought out of state.

David Aviles @ Northwest BMW (Baltimore) is your man considering you're on the east coast. David is well reviewed on this forum especially with regard to individual M3s. Give both David and Ryan a call and see who offers the best deal.
