rhythmic clicking sound from front suspension while cornering
Anytime is bend my E92 a bit, as soon as I get to probably half a G, I start hearing rhythmic clicking. Is this normal? It happens bilaterally. I've hit nothing (excluding unavoidable road variances of living in LA. I DO have a tendency to get to the threshold of adhesion on freeway onramps, etc. :-D But, no "trauma".
Any ideas as to what this is? Also, does the M3 NOT come with the RADAR assisted cruise control? What cool features that are slightly buried have you found in your car that some people might not know of...? |

A lot have this ticking including me. Not sure if it's normal or not, some say it is.

I get this too. Started happening after a while. Kinda sounded like a spring clicking or something when increased load is put on one front tire. Have been meaning to take it in.

yes, I have this. likley from the rotors as it's the same popping, cracking sound (albeit a more consistent, rapid version) heard from hot brakes after I turn off the car.

The best word I would use to describe the noise is "spark" haha. Sounds like sparks or metal clicking.

I took the car in to the dealer a couple weeks ago and no solution. The foreman was to do some research on possible causes (his guess was the floating system on the brakes). He just called and left a message saying he had some info, so I'll update once I speak with him.

I have this, too. I was worried it was a wheel bearing issue (would hate to have wheel fall off!) but if BMW is not alarmed by it then probably something else. I don't care that much as long as it does not get worse/pose a risk.
