I would be interested in that. I am planning to get a Garmin 755T in a couple of weeks. Have the M3 at the icon would be cool.

So you guys use a Garmin over the in-dash nav? Or do you have "one-humpers". I'm not sure why you'd need this.

Nothing wrong with a Garman, but if I had to choose between a dual hump or some aftermarket nav unit stuck to my windshield with a wire hanging down (or hardwired for that matter), I'd rather have the dual humper.

I ordered a "one-humper" because I really don't have a big use for a Navigation system.
I would rather get a Garmin that I can use every now and then and take with me on trips.

Glad to see another 09 E90 M3 coming to Seattle ;-)

i tried doing this before when i didn't have my car with idrive. but it's very complicated. you need a lot of pix on different angles. i tried doing this using the snapshot feature for forza II, but i got nowhere.

I have the factory nav and keep my garmin with me as well- all bmw factory nav systems are total trash.

the garmin is much easier to find places with and entering addresses are way easier.

I have a one hump cuz i hate the look of the dual hump
plus i tried both and the garmin runs rings around the OEM nav
plus the cost of my garmin was 200
not 2100 for OEM
and its much easier to move the garmin from car to car VS the stock

and i didn't want idrive
i know myself
i would always be messing with it
so the less to fiddle with the more i pay attention to the road

In Europe you can't live w/o a nav unit. The stock Nav unit comes with voice recognition & is easy to manage once you know how. Not to mention the integration with idrive. IMO it's well worth the $2100 & wouldn't be caught w/o it.

Caveat - If my copilot AKA wife could read a map....I might consider it.
