So I guess ESS holds every record now, lol? So much for those guys who claimed my trap was bullshit because of "spinning." Back to back 130mph traps while running in the 10's is amazing. zim and scott great job guys your cars are flying

It was a great day for racing! Perfect negative DA provided plenty of extra HP but traction was hard to find. For those that will ask about my setup...

09 E92 DCT
ESS 625
Aquamist Meth - OFF (its pulls timing in cold temps)
Nitto NT555 DR's 285/40/18
OEM 18's in front
93/100 mix
Stock motor
No Nitrous
AR Designs Line Lock
Gintani Catless Xpipe
Borla Mufflers

Weight (-150lbs approx) - passenger and rear seat removed. OEM driver seat. I was trying to make the car comparable to VAC's car in weight. I believe they had rear seats but two race recaros.

The car is capable of 10.5x with Mickey Thompson 265/40/18 DR's and thats its limit with stock internals IMO. I know VAC ran a 1.6x 60ft and thats b/c the MT's are the best out there when your at your limits in the cold temps

Thanks to ESS, ACM and all my broski's! Records are mean't to be broken...lets go boys! I know Zim wont stop until he takes it..lol

I highly doubt an E93 will ever break into the 10's but you should give it a shot and see what you can do!

thats tough to say without trying it. The car lack torque which is what you need for 1/4mile. I typically get zero wheelspins at launch and in between shifts but yesterday I was loosing some traction from 1st - 2nd.

I had a blast fellas!

Traction was amotherfucker in 1st and second & the best I can achieve with no launch control was a 1.86 60'
I needed better tires like MT's .

But.... I'll take a full weight new world record 10.84.... For Now

Side note : My goal for the 650 is 10.5 full weight , this would've happened if I had MT's at this event with a 1.6 60' .
My threshold power vs traction was overtaken by the power.

Great job guys. The 130+ traps really show the power these kits make. Impressive work from both cars

Thanks Roman. We wonder how much faster the runs would have been if we had the ESS DCT software...

Aside from shift speeds, is the launch control any different?

Excellent work Scott and Jamie! If one of you were able to crack a 1.6 60', 10.4 would have been doable, regardless that's moving guys.

Please add time slips and vids to the 1/4 mile thread.
