What does 'polished' look like? Are you sure you don't mean 'brushed'?

How much is the "remainder". When do they arrive? Where are they being shipped? Etc?

The wheels are in South Florida now (at Champion Motorsports (Pompano Beach) I believe). Once they are paid for (final money to RAC), they will be shipped.

OP will need to confirm the actual costs, but the deposit was about 1/2 the total cost. The group buy price was $3,750. plus cost of shipping from Florida to your door. Also, the polished finish was extra cost at $140.00 per wheel. The total cost for the wheels the OP is offering should have been about $4,310. plus shipping from Florida. Shipping isn't expensive. My cost to Texas was about $100. After paying the OP his $1,800., you would need to pay approximately an additional $2,510 plus shipping to you for the wheels.

IMO, it's very unlikely there will be another group buy for these wheels. If you want them and you want them new, what you find for sale here on this forum now is likely going to be it. Once the new sets that people didn't want/need when they finally got them are sold, availability will be much more sporadic as people decide to sell their used wheels for whatever reason. There were only about 75 sets made total. Shep did order a few extra sets (maybe 3 or 4) to sell at retail (over $5K) as people come looking for them.

Damn, I'm even tempted to buy this set, even though I already have a set of RACs in anthracite. Brushed silver looks awesome on AW.
Someone buy these already!

Most will be fine spending $5k+ on bling wheels--not that the RACs don't look awesome or anything. You just need to wait for the right buyer who knows a few things about the brand. Since a 3rd GB is unlikely, you should have an easier time selling them with time. My 2 cents...

damn there not even here yet and people getting rid of them.

sick wheel someone will be very happy

if i didn't have Volks already i would be all over these. i am gonna wait for a set later down the road when i can get a sick deal on them. i just feel bad for the guys who bought extras thinking they were gonna make 1k extra a set like they orig were saying. maybe in a different economy/demand that would of happened but not right now

if you weren't in a rush i would say wait till the right buyer comes for these bc there sweet and i would hate to see you get low balled and that is what is gonna happen being you are in a rush

good luck with the sale and if i know anyone i will send them your way

Thanks, John. I've been following this thread...keeping these wheels in the back of my mind but not close to committing...and I'm glad I saw your heads-up.
