BMW nondealer service in Northern VA recommendaton

Does anyone have any recommendations for service excluding a BMW dealer? My 08 M3 is out of the BMW service coverage plan and I am debating between bring it to the dealer vs finding something cheaper at a decent independent shop. The car has no issues except routine maintenance and reseting the vehicle service reminders in the iDrive. Thanks for any suggestions.

You can take it to me and my ghetto garage for routine maintenance . I let people watch what I'm doing and walk them through it so they can do it themselves in the future.

Thanks Ashiq. I'm pretty much a BMW Master Tech after all the stuff I had to fix on my X5.

Also the motor is coming out of the X5 soon. I need to replace a $5 gasket on the side of the engine.
