Wait a second....two of you mentioned new tags and received your new tags etc.....you mean the blue, red, and white mural New DEFAULT Texas tags right?

I have high hopes on these black plates.

And spicolio24,
I hear ya. I'm just not a big fan of BIGM3 or FASTM3 on my tags. I like the black design but don't need a catch phrase. All personal preference. In my last SL500 I had personalized plates on it and looked more like a douchebag with personalized plates....lol. Then again, the car had a lot to do with that!

If the phrase was right it would probably be cool.

See ya!

ha I definitely read meanie too but you can add spaces to make it more clear. Mine reads "S54 M3" and I saw a great one the other day on a red SLK55 that made me laugh "RUT ROH"

Toll Tags Can be Changed Online

You can change the vehicle and or the plates that are tied to a specific toll tag on the North Texas Tollway Authority website (http://www.ntta.org/). I don't know what they do about your vehicle registration renewal the first time you get vanity plates. My red background plates should show up by the end of the month. I'll post what they do when I find out. I just got my car 11/25/09.

Classic BMW Collision is dragging their feet on my car so bad. It is now reaching epic proportions. They don't even know if I will get it by NEXT Friday. I took it in LAST Thursday. This is insane. My tires/wheels are sitting at Jerry's. As much as I like my Chevy Impala I want my damn car back...

(End Rant)

I had the worst experience there. I took my old M there after a woman backed into my quarter panel. It took them 3 weeks and when I got it back they had not finished painting it. You could see the metal beneath the paint. It was ridiculous. I would have warned you about that. Sorry.

F. Where do you guys recommend? I was told them for Service with Choung and I have used them before on my last M but it seems like they are really dragging their feet on this one.

GTI in Euless has re-opened (http://www.germantechnologyinc.com/index.php) with the same people doing the work. I've seen some of the stuff they have done, and it's very good. Stuarts has a good rep, but I have no personal experience with them.

I've heard that GTI isn't necessarily speedy.

That's what I ALWAYS do when it comes to my car. I must be the most annoying customer, but hey, it's my car and my money. I want to be sure it is done properly. I am sure it will turn out fine, but in the unfortunate event it does not either make them redo it or have them pay for another place to meet your expectations.

Anybody ever sit in a certain spot in the restraunt to make sure you don't get door dings? I had my back to the car today and my gf made me aware there was a huge truck trying to park next to me (pulled back like 3 times) and then she said she would watch him to see if he gets the "startled look" like he did something bad. I love her.

Yes. A couple of weekends ago I watched from my restaurant seat a Prius owner do his best to make parallel parking look hard. He literally came within 2 inches of my new RDSport bumper. Coincidentally, the tool and his dominatrix gf were seated at the table next to the one my wife and I were sitting at, and it took everything in my power not to make a snide comment.

Every restaurant I go to I do this At movie theaters, stores, etc, I make sure I park next to nicer cars or park next to the cement divider so one side of my car is saved

I don't want any door dings on my M...already have gotten 3 on my lexus
