Gas was, unbelievably, $5.10 for 91 Octane in LA today (off La Brea).

The tank was near empty - I put 50 dollars into it - which took the tank to just above half.

Ughhhhhhhhhhh.

You'd complain if you knew I'm about to go fill up my M3 for $3.7 per gallon of premium shortly. One of the perks of living in SC I guess

Nah... I work in the Oil & Gas industry. It's unlikely that I'll ever complain about gas prices... Oh man, did I just come out and say that!?

Definitely not counting on it, though, and it wouldn't happen quickly.
You HAVE seen what the voters keep putting into office here in the People's Republik of Kalifornia, right? There's no chance that they waste a great opportunity like this to tell us to use the mass transit that can't stay anywhere near on time, doesn't serve the majority of the area and costs more to use than driving even if gas cost $8 a gallon.

Us Californians have to pay for the high speed train to nowhere and huge pensions. Oh yeah, also all of the other things that come along with a state going into bankruptcy. Gas is just one way of passthrough.

And someone earlier in this forum said it Bush's fault? I know this thread isnt political so lets not go there. Stick to conversations about Ms

Ha! Same here (wife, too). One way to justify driving an ///M V8, I guess. It all comes back around, right?

I'm on ED right now. Just filled up in Austria. It cost me $162 USD to fill up the M5 which is around $8.61 USD per gallon.

Man I hate when US complains about gas prices. I get it, its a shock overnight that gas spikes, but look outside the US and see their gas prices. Unless you live in Venezuela where you can fill up your tank for $5 USD, the majority pay 6USD to 10USD a gallon. In the south is $3.95 for 93.

If gas prices are high in the US then consider a higher MPG car, its as simple as that.

Gas is getting out of hand for sure, but we're still paying a lot less compared to other countries.

dude, quit your bitchin. if you can afford an M3, then that means you are rich. poor people cant afford expensive cars... hell, what am i saying. poor people can afford nice cars... by leasing or financing....

also, gas prices arent rising. the value of the dollar is falling. you can still buy a gallon of gas for LESS than $0.20, if you are using pre-1965 coins, since they have 90% SILVER. those 2 dimes are worth $2.50 EACH.

think im trollin..

I think I'm just going to fill up with 100 octane at the 76 in Agoura. Due to the price in increase of 91, paying $8-9 for 100 is not as extreme any more and it is a hell of a lot more fun.

All jokes aside, a couple of my buddies are doing just that...100 octane from 76 gas station, $7/gallon
