No I'm saying is incorrect to lump them together at an equal entry cost point. Generally a modded vehicle is no bargain long term. If you love it, great. Just don't think they cost the same. Btw, I own a hennessey velociraptor so I'm not against modded vehicles.

However 370 RWTQ at over 8,000 RPM means 550 to 600 RWHP So yeah, you add positive displacement blower on an M3 and you break stuff and get wheel spin, etc...but put an ESS centrifugal system on and you have a platform that can fully handle it and a product that makes it seems like it's from the factory to begin with. And what about removing the mods and selling them? That's what I'm doing when my lease comes due.

Just curious.. Wouldn't SC mod void the warranty on your leased M3 and cause problem when you turn in your vehicle at the lease end? (assuming your lease is less than 39 months..)
The S/C and all other mods will be removed before the care is returned. The dealer won't know there was a S/C, BBK, exhaust, etc on there before.

I did this with two leased 335's already running FBO/meth, LSD, coils, etc.

You want a fun weekend car? I vote C6 Z06 with straight pipes or a Cayman S, get either one used for around $45k and call it a day. A turbo 911 and GT-R deserve to be driven more often than just weekends.
Luck is not needed when the M3 was leased

Mods get removed and sold easily.

Haha, that's great! I feel sorry for whoever ended up buying those lease returns. I never thought of doing that but will now!

I will buy the used 911 Turbo one day. First, the 911 Turbo has always been one of my "must have" cars. Second, I like turbos. Third, I like turbo torque. Fourth, I like AWD with big power. Fifth, with AWD, I can put snows on and get around well in the winter even with high power (I put snow wheels on my 560 rwhp E36 M3 Turbo and drive it all winter, but have to be careful due to the lack of traction control).

The centrifugal supercharged E90 M3 is a great car. Just not my first choice. If I had unlimited money, I would certainly supercharge mine.

GTR... I've owned 2 m3's and just recently made the switch to gtr and I love it! Got the 600 kit on it and it's a monster and it was a lot cheaper than getting the m3 to have that much power.

Yeh the interior isnt the best but the stereo is really loud in my opinion. Also it looks a lot more unique than an m3 in terms of an average person.

Absolutely +1. It's one of my all time favorite cars next to the M3. And it's just completely different. AWD, turbos, looks, P car... everything. I keep looking at that M4 and thinking "hmm I would". But at the end of the day, I need to have a 997.1 Turbo in my life.

How about a Noble M400? 0-60 in 3.4 sec and is amazing. It also costs around $65k.

Took a look at them when I was looking for new track car. Not very reliable and difficult to find as well.

+1

If I had that kind of money the 911 Turbo would be the one for me.

GT3 and M3 are worlds apart...universes even. By no stretch is an M3 even close in any aspect of performance.

For starters, the GT3 is a 120 mph trap speed car vs a 112 mph car...and thats not even getting into how much faster they are on the track.

Your GT3 looks incredible BTW.

Turbo. Always wanted one and will get one eventually.

Why? Because it is the best car you listed. Modding is a waste of money so unless it is for the long haul the M3 would be the last choice. GTR would have to be number 2 but I just can't stand the looks of that car. They are U-G-L-Y.

it depends on which 911 turbo we are speaking here, if its 997.2PDK turbo then that would be the obvious choice

Depends on how old the Turbo is and mileage. New GT-R sounds most logical given it is a new car with full warranty. However, IMO, 911 Turbo has a more refined appearance to it vs. GT-R's raw power.

If the Turbo is less than 2 years old and less than 10k miles and same price as new GT-R, I'd choose the Turbo. It also will retain much higher resale value since it has already taken the initial depreciation. Good luck.
