1200 mile service but odometer reads only 600+

hello Fellas.

i just dropped off my M at the dealer as my SA contacted me and said it was time for the 1200 mile service. I told her i only had 600+ miles. She explained it was based on my driving style. i remember keeping the RPMs under 5K, used all the gears, on the freeway never went over 90, never fully floored the gas. I couldnt help not use M mode sometimes, but never execeding the 5K RPM/90 mph limit or flooring the gas. Now im wondering if i effed up my break-in period. Did i? Comments are greatly appreciated

I don't think anybody more than you can say you effed up your car during break in period, but highly unlikely. I kept my car <100 mph/<5500 rpm during my 1500 mile break in and noted that I spent a good amount of oil so I was more than ready.

From what I understand 400-600 mi is more than enough to break in so your fluids might have been low..... and look on the bright side, now your ready to rumble!! I sweated it also.....its all good.
