So I filled up gas (93 octane at my Shell) and decided to put it through a non-brush automatic wash at the gas station. I drove through a very narrow lane (concrete curbs about four inches from the tires) about 100 feet long when a lady in an Escalade in front of me told me the wash was broken and that we had to go back. I was pretty bummed and put the DCT in Reverse and slowly started driving in reverse. Well about 2/3 of the way down the car just stopped (might've jerked a bit too) and the stalk went from R to N.
Did this happen because this is a DCT and because I was slowly and carefully driving in reverse (didn't want to scratch the tires on the curb) the clutch wasn't properly engaging thus leading the car to shut off? Has this happened to any of you guys? |
