Getting new rims.. Tire size?
Getting a set of 19x8.5 et40 & 19x9.5 et 35.. Was thinking about doing 245/35/19 up front and 285/30/19 in the rear on my e92 M3. It has standard edc suspension, any chance of rubbing, or is there a better combination to go with?

I think the width difference between the front and rear is a little too big, I wouldn't use 285 width on 9.5 especially if you are only running 245 in the front.

I think 255 is ideal for 8.5 and with some narrower tires like Vredesteins you could squeeze in a 265. Best to look at tire manufacturer recommendations and go from there..

The offsets on those wheels are horrible (12mm more conservative than stock) and I wouldn't run a 285 on a 9.5" wheel. You would need a 12mm spacer for them to look decent and a 25mm spacer for a more aggressive look. I would much rather run OEM wheels.

You will most likely need spacers. I can't say for sure because I have never test fitted wheels with more conservative offsets than stock. The wheels are the same widths as stock so I would run stock tire sizes (245/265). Why are you considering wheels with improper offsets? My recommendation is to Keep your OEM wheels. What brand/style are the wheels you are considering?

These offsets are WAY off. I am not even sure you will clear the suspension with that front offset. Seriously....I STRONGLY recommend not using these wheels. You are looking at like 25mm spacers to get a nice fitment.

I guess 12mm spacers are neeeded all the way around to have oem stock fitment. The rims are P40 style and dont have a lip, so I think it should be okay. And I think I will stick with 245/265 tires. Thoughts?

Why would you spend money on wheels that arent even an e92 m3 fitment. Return them...
