Pics of HRE/Fall Line Wheels

Just got them last week. Thanks to Ilia at IND for helping out! Think I've finally found the the wheels for me! Specs are 18x9.5 275/35/18 front and 18x10 285/35/18 rear Nitto NT05.

If you have weight info, that would awesome. Top 5 wheels for this car for sure.

Nice. But I think 19" would look better.

Thanks guys! I don't have the exact info on weight but I would estimate in the 22lb range. I was a little surprised that the wheels/tires together are 2lbs heavier than the G2s (which are 20" wheels). But I think it's all in the hub/pad as the hub/pad is huge on this wheel. You can not use the OEM lugnuts as they are too short. I'm pretty sure this was done to allow for a mid 20et without any concavity. Therefore just about any brake kit you can come up with for the car works.

While they may not be the absolute lightest wheel out there, I don't think it matters much as the guy won the pole at the 24 hours of Daytona was running these wheels. So I don't see how they can not be a legitimate track wheel. My seat of the pants feel indicates this is a very good setup.

Great choice. Did you have an E60 M5 before by any chance?

Looks great. Congrats. They go great with the theme of your car.
The Nittos are on the heavy side from what I heard, especially compared to Contis or PS2s.

Naahh... No E60 for me - just never got one. Had an E39 M5 but no E60.

Thx!

Barry,
Are you still on the Motons in the pics?
Im guessing you are dropped just over an inch?

How is the clearance between the wheel/tire and the coils?

Car looks great.

Yes still on the Motons. Not sure how much the drop is as I've left where Bimmerworld set it and they measure how far the rocker panel is off the ground. Haven't checked the clearance with the coils....

Thx!

What are the offsets? Are you rubbing in the front at all?

I know the front is 26 but I don't remember the rear. I'd have to pull the wheel off the car but I think it's 24 but I could be wrong. No rubbing whatsoever.
