The curb hit me. "I" did not hit you.

Shit Happens. Get it fixed and move on.

thread fails because generalizations fail.

Maybe M3 owners curb their wheels because they do have friends and take their friends to bars with street parking frequently...

Further proof that M3 drivers can't drive...the 100's of stories on this forum that start like, "I turned off DCS and..."

Usually, this is followed by something like the sky fell down, my house caught on fire, my dog died, my wife left me, an earthquake hit, etc...

The story usually ends with the poster's M3 hitting a curb.

Meh, I don't care that much. I rarely have to parallel park. I don't find the tilty mirror thing very helpful.

That won't save my $1000 lip, $2000 euro bumper, $1000 side skirt extensions, or my $750 rear spats.

Now where is my JC Whitney catalog?

Curb feelers FTW!

Man oh man, I curbed a rim for the first time ever just last month. Was doing a parallel park in a tight spot and the rear left rim ever so slightly touched it, honestly you would not even see it if the rims were silver but being black and all.. Worst part was I was driving 2 minutes later..shouldn't have even parked in the first place! All together though I don't know how people do it to be honest, my front tires are a bit stretched and I haven't had a problem.

this doesn't make sense; obviously you do care. Don't people have to parallel park anymore to get a license?

No, I don't care that much to learn like he suggested I should. I'd rather avoid it because I don't have to do it often. Reading owns you.

I squeeze my M3 backed up in my 2 car garage every day with my SUV parked in there and shelves on both sides. Squeeze in, squeeze out. No curb damage either. 2 broken windshields though in the last year. I blame all the rest of the drivers out there. I'm the best driver there is

I blame on the concrete curbs. They should've been made out of softer and environmental friendly material (seems like nowadays you can make everything change as long as you mention it is greener) LOL

JC, really?

I swear, I read the things on these forums like this, or about the neurotic nuts that spend hours washing and wiping their cars, and I wonder how the human race survives.

Get a grip It's a car. Inanimate. Made of metal and plastic.

And I equally wonder about all the nonchalant indifferent "its just a car" arguments.. but there are some people who value and take car of their stuff and some who dont want to spend money on body work..yet the human race hasnt collapsed..go figure..

Fortunately I have yet to curb a wheel on my M3. However, the previous owner was nice enough to do it for me
