How low can I go... 08' E90.
Greetings,
Trying to work a deal on an '08 E90. Just wanted to some advice before I put in a final offer. MSRP: $67,100 Edmunds Invoice: $62,315 Is that invoice even right? They are offering $63,600 and they are hammering me on my trade pretty bad. I'm thinking to get the deal moving I'm just gonna have to be the one to put in a low offer for the car and see if they bite. They just keep calling me every few days screwing around about trying to get me more money for my trade. They have not offered to go any lower on the '08. My trade is a 06' E46 M3 (CPO) 16,400 miles very clean all orig., SMG, 19" wheels, moonroof, no nav. Needs new tires. They are only offering me $35,000. I'm pretty sure they have had this car for over 3 months. I'm thinking $61,500. Do you think I should just tell them $61,500 or go lower and see if they try to play the "meet you half way" game? Thanks in advance, -jscott |

Go $1000 below invoice and work up from there, if it has been there for 3 months they won't hold on for long. Tell them the price you and say I will come and sign the papers, watch them come to the party and say yes.

Finalized the deal...
After a week of negotiations we finally made a deal. Got her for ~1068 under Edmunds posted invoice for an E90 M3. So, I didn't steal her but got a fair deal considering market conditions.
Pics are over here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181644 Yay M3!! -jscott |
