2008 Alpine White M3 Coupe

Every single option except SMG and sunroof

Picked it up last weekend. I can't stop smiling everytime I drive it. There's just gobs and gobs of power.

I came from a 2001 540i 6-speed, then a 2009 MINI JCW, and finally this car. YAY!!!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm an active member of bimmerforums

I picked up the car last weekend. Haven't done any research on mods. Where can I find LED taillights?

Someone also noted about the amber reflectors on the front bumper. I'd like to change those out too.

Besides that, the car is perfect. I love everything about it except the navigation seems outdated. The colors and functionality is identical to the nav on my 01 540i. I bet the 09 navigation is a lot nicer.

painted reflectors available at IND-distribution.com.

should cost about $75 del.

have them on my 2011 and they fit fine and look good.

Very nice, I'm a new'ish owner of an 08 also... yeah the updated nav is much nicer, but I didn't get the car for the nav that was just a perk. Anyways, welcome!

Thanks guys, this car is so ridiculously fast. Sadly, I got a speeding ticket already (4 days after I acquired the car going 55 in a 30 in Atherton, CA)

Oh well...it was bound to happen. I need a Valentine One!

For a V8 I was surprised it didn't have as much torque as I thought - not until you rev past 4000rpm. My old 540i with a 4.4L V8 felt more of a "kick" when you punched it from a stop. I guess that's the difference between 295 and 325lb/ft of torque.

The handling is amazing too, but not as agile as the Mini JCW. It's nice to finally have a true LSD instead of MINI's EDLC (Electronic Differential Lock Control) that uses the brakes to act like an LSD.

I can't wait for this weekend to have more fun with it - hopefully no more tickets *crosses fingers* I don't drive this car to work on the weekdays, so i've been itching like crazy to take it out.
