If you are having cooling issues I would start with doing a diagnostic scan and check for any fault codes. Check your stock cooling system and make sure it is in proper working condition and check the supercharger cooling system lines, pump etc.. With everything in proper working condition you should not have issues on the track with cooling. You can always email or PM me to discuss.

First do what Roman suggests ^ ^ , but in addition, water/meth injection at 50/50 levels keeps both IAT's and oil temps in check for sustained WOT runs like on a track. I run water/meth on my 335 and have never limped on the track running the stock turbos at 19psi even in very hot conditions - nearing 90F. Many others have limped at stock boost levels. Good luck and please let us know what happens.

If you are in a high temp region you can also look into upgrading the oil cooler and running water wetter as others have mentioned if you find there are no issues with the vehicle or kit. Also it helps to run high octane fuel if you have access.

the kit is absolutely fine. i know the problem is the heat over here not the kit. not trying to bash ess or anything. the kit will never ever overheat on the street its just when im on track.
the highest octane fuel that i can use is 91. there is no higher octane at pump here. @roman, do you think meth can work fine on my car? would love to try and add water/meth.

^Great contribution to the thread, its clear why you would say that based off your sig.
OP, like roman said check the system/codes first to see if its all running right. I know my buddy sal@autocouture and many others track the living shit out of their blown M3's without a single hiccup. You could also try an upgraded oil cooler |

Oh so sorry. Did not realize valid opinions were frowned upon. I am not calling any other SC systems down, just stating a solution to high temp running. But water wetter and oil cooler must be the correct approach.

Personally, I don't consider meth to be a solution more like a band-aid. It's also just another item to cause issues.

What is overheating first, oil or water? Any aftermarket body panels or other items installed that may be obstructing airflow?

but you're solution doesn't even make sense. the car is running hot, so how would putting a FMIC in front of the rad help?? OP look at the fan and shroud as the fitment of the shroud is crucial to benefit cooling. I wouldn't throw an oil cooler at the car yet as you should be able to bring temps down without throwing parts at the car. Look over the cooling system and any blockages; You may want to look at a lower temp thermostat to aid in cooling also. Check that the fan switch is coming on at temp too |

I thought the water to air cooler sits on top of the oil cooler? If so would heat soak not be a factor as the Water to air cooler heats up the oil cooler has a more difficult time doing it's job? Then as oil temp rises, motor gets hot?

Air to Air intercoolers mount in front of the radiator blocking fresh air and dumping heated air into the factory water cooling system. Do you believe this design has 0 negative effect on the factory cooling system?
