Congrats on your new wheels.

Like many things, wheels are also a matter of taste. I've seen a lot of people in the US with those Volks. For me personally these are a complete no go particularly on the M3 and maybe on almost any other German car. You can put them on a Civic, Subaru or Mitsubishi but not on a BMW or Mercedes. I know that they are very light, but there are other light wheels from different manufacturers. If I buy an aftermarket wheel it will most probably be something from BBS. If I look for lightweight wheels for the track I'll get something from OZ or ATS.

thanks for your opinion, and i understand that wheels are all about peoples taste, hence why some people on here won't ever put volks, advans, works, ssr, or any other jdm brands on their bmw. but I'm pretty happy with what i chose because honestly to me, i think that these volks look the best on a e92, and i like the look of 20 inch bbs lmr's also so thats probably gonna be me next wheel!

Bad analogy, but I don't want to start anything.
It's almost like saying, M3 should not have roll cage or sparco/recaro race seats!

To each their own, but I love em!

As long as you are happy with them, that's OK. That's actually the most important thing.
The Rays look kind of small even in 20". I like concave rims, and those are exactly the opposite. The BBS LMR are nice. One of my favorite rims is the BBS LM for example, but I know many people who say that they look old fashioned and don't suit the modern design of the E9x.

if you look at the wheel up in person, you can see there is a little but of concavity in the rear wheel. but yea, i personally don't really like the lm's myself, but i love how the lmr's look on the e92 body!
