Competition Package

Hi Everyone,

I thought I'd make my first post now that I'm getting closer to getting an M3. My dealer called me today after looking up info on the competition package. In Canada, the package will be special order only. The package will cost $5995 + $400 special order fee. The package includes the updated EDC, lowered suspension (apparently just springs) and a new 19" "Y" style wheel.

The frozen colours (black, gray) are also available with orders starting in August and delivery starting roughly October. Apparently there are only 2 build slots a month for the frozen colours in Ontario according to the dealer.

Welcome to the forum.

In Canada, all colours are "frozen".

I would stay away from the frozen colours.I saw a SL63 in the Benz version of the matte Black and it looked like the car was in primer

I saw a black and a gray frozen M3 when I was in the UK. Black was meh, but gray looked very nice.

Agreed. It's a bit much considering that the regular EDC and 19" wheel option adds up to $4,000. I'm leaning towards just getting a set of Volks and EDC. As for the frozen colours I think I'm going to pass there. I'm betting repainting or touch up due to rock chips will look awful although I love the frozen gray.
