google chrome....

So i am running little snitch (program that manages any automated calls to home from other programs) and Chrome, while i don't have it open or running in the background tries to connect to the internet at least 10 times a day. Only when it's closed, not when i'm using it.

Seems weird, anyone run little snitch or something of the like? Anyone know why it's trying to connect all day long when not in use?

Probably to see if there are any updates to Google Chrome.

That seems weird Joe. I use Chrome and have Little Snitch and I haven't come across that problem.

It's getting ramped. 15 - 20 times a day. Drives me nuts.

just uninstall and re-install both. make sure you have up to date versions of both.
