Curb Rash
Does anyone know of any reputable company that does minor cosmetic curb rash on M3 rims in Northern Va. I scraped the curb this weekend and would like to get it fixed. I know I'm anal, but it's not much damage, but it irks me. It would be nice if they come to home to do repair or I can go to them if needed. Thanks in advance

I always goto ye old wheel shop but they might be kind of far from you, he's their web site;
http://www.yeolewheelshop.net/ Also if it's the OEM 19s I don't think theres much any one can do to fix it.

How much did WheelsOnsite charge? Was it more for something other than silver?

wheelsonsite is about 185-200$ a wheel. they prefer working on OEM stuff vs. aftermarket. however, they do work on aftermarket though. The advantage is they come to you and you don't need to take 1/2 day off to drop off and 1/2 day to pick up.
Besides that, it's biz as usual (not sure what this means in this context)...lol |

but that was a while ago. Wouldn't surprise me if costs have gone up a bit due to inflation, etc.

WOW $170-200/rim! I guess I won't complain about rimdoc who I believe works only on MD.

yes, the cost is little bit higher but trust me i rather pay that then take a day off to drop/pick up wheels. He's providing a service and if you include the service charges then it's fairly cheap. If you have the time and other shops where you can drop off the wheels then by all means that is the way to go.
also, prices of 185-200$ were for 20s, so 19s still maybe in the 17x$ range. I believe my sister has used rimdoc and they are good. |
