They were made in both materials, if you look at the 9th. picture you will see the letters ss stamped on the plate.

Is there anyway i can verify this? I thought the SS stamp was maybe for the tips? because the tips have that silver color, vs the rest of the exhaust has that titanium color.

Contacted GTHAUS, waiting on a response from them. In the meantime I will try and find a scale and weigh the system even though it can be picked up by hand no problem. But as far as I remember I bought the system from a forum member here and they claimed it was titanium.

i have always been curious about this system because of its unique shape. i have yet to find an exhaust lighter than my vorsteiner (19 lbs), but if this setup is titanium, i'd say it would be.

So I heard back from GTHAUS.

"It will probably be the SUS unit.
We have offered the SUS (Stainlessness steel) unit before for limited time
period,
But we have discontinued them and only offer the Titanium units now.
The SUS SGT unit is very rare and very popular now for the ROI stand point.
Hope this makes sense.

GTHAUS
"
Still doesnt answer my question if its the titanium or stainless steel. But from the sound of it, even if it where to be the steel version it would be considered "rare".

that doesnt look like TI. I had akra and the color is totally different.
Also if its really TI, you will be able to lift the whole exhaust with 1 hand without effort.

My vorsteiner is titanium. It's the first gen, which has a single can- probably less weight then the second gen dual cans.
