to the OP
reading your incident, i can tell where your perspectives are. your gratitude to the M3 and to the minor damage show that you're able to see things on a bigger scale. This post could've easily been "Some POS civic pushed me over and now my rims are curbed!!" your optimism of the result outweighed your anger of the situation. kudos to you, and i'm glad you're ok. an M3 don't mean sh*t if you aren't alive or able to physically drive. the other driver will eventually get what's due to him. |

just wanna note the civic is wrong...
1st.. dont drive in the left lane and make people pass you in the middle.. 2nd.. dont try to race a car that is not trying to race you, or isnt in ur league i had to jump a 2-3 inch curb once in my STi when some "bad driver" tried to change lanes into me while i was passing on the left.. curb rashed both wheels; long story short, because the cars never touched i had to pay for the wheels. if we did touch, it would have been her fault, her insurance, but add the body work in.. so im glad it did not go down like that.. |

You have had a lucky escape there- just double check those tires. With the impact damage on the wheels the sidewalls of the tires could be compromised. Be aware of nutjobs at all times.

Just because someone is going over by 10, that doesn't equate: illegal car race. And no, if the other car cut someone else intentionally is called reckless driving, and misdemeanor can be issued. So I don't know where you live, but down here, on earth, in the good 'ol USA, a person that is in negligent of others can be arrested and charged, and not both-just to let you know.

I haven't bothered to read the full thread as my angst detection meter is already off the charts but there's a certain stereotype tied to Civics with fartcan exhausts. These are the types that take a cheap car and put an equal or greater amount of money into the car as mods. They aren't known for sensibility, practicality, or style

You just violated your own rule, if racing an idiot is fruitless so is arguing with one. Tell me what good comes out of you exchanging insults with addy85. ;-)

hakida comes here to troll on occasion. Like a mild tropical storm on your vacation you curse under your breath at its presence and then you go back to drinking at the bar till it goes away.
besides, bmw owners must band together against the small p(enis)car crowd. |
