First Service - EUR 538 !

aie .... i have just received the invoice for the first service (1200 miles / 2000 km), it amount to EUR 538 !!!

I find this very expensive, even if i'm familiar with the BMW services prices.

For the ones who have already done the first service, could you please tell me your country of residence, and how much you have paid.

thanks in advance,

Wow, what was included? That is a lot. Typically it includes like an oil & diff oil change + computer scan and general check over. I'm thankful for our 4 years of free service.

About 400 € in Germany without transmission oil change. Has transmission oil been changed?

Best regards, south

Yes it is. They make the euopeans pay extra to pay for ours. Pretty sweet huh?

edit: I should say "scheduled maintenance" is covered, as well as many "wear items". However, I know I am going to change my oil WAY more often than recommneded by that damn service light...so I will be out of pocket for some of the "maintenance" I guess.

First service should be free in the UK.

I am glad that I live in the states. We get the cheapest M3 plus 4 years or 50k miles of free maintenance.
