Guitarists Unite
Please, no Buckethead bashing...I'm just posting what I think is a great piece of music.
Yes, he's my favorite guitarist and I just wanted to share a new song I think is amazing: Happy playing. |

not a big name guy, but i know him so it makes it a little cooler for me
he also plays the pedal steel guitar so its something different. He got onto the rolling stone's top 100 guitarists list when he was like 24 too

This guy isn't kidding. If you ever get a chance to go, JUST GO! Tickets are around $25 and it's a steal to watch a musician of his caliber. His live shows usually have more shredding and frills, but the guy is just amazing.
I've seen him twice and can honestly say it was truly a memorable experience. I have so much respect for him and his talent. |

Hi guys,
I'm Jone, and I'm new to this commune. I am a start slinger, and was wondering if there were any others like me out there. I've been addicted to playing' blues for about 5 years now. Nothing' but the blues. Actually, as of recently, I've been listening to just as much Metallics as blues because I love Kirk Hammet's Lead work, but I'm blues at heart. Currently I have two starts. One is a Mexicans 60's that I've decked the shit out of, New pick-ups, jumbo frets, new bridge block, saddles, and the other is an 87 Jap Standard with jumbo frets, and it is the shit. I never put that fucker down. My 60's is kinda left out, but that Jap has a better sound and quality than any American model I've played, and it only cost $400. Any whoo, any other start slinger out there, comment. I'd like to get to know a few more. |
