Boosted M3's looking for a boost gauge?

FI owners, or potential one's, what do you think of this Boost Gauge from Turner Motorsports? I had a setup like this in my Audi, I liked it. I may go with this when I go FI.

Well being that its SC and its a set boost. As long as you just confirm every now and than that the car makes the specified boost I would run more necessary gauges before a boost gauge.
If it were turbo I would monitor it, but its more for show in an SC car

But personally if you need one I prefer the one they have out for the 335i the Turner gauge looks sloppy

Agreed on all points. And yes it's all for show. But this is a much better show than the Turner one

I was going to post that as well, but you beat me to it! I completely disagree that the turner gauge looks "sloppy," lol, some prefer an actual gauge rather than a digital one, but each to his own Bro. I do however like the P3 one a lot.

I agree but I actually prefer the Macht schnell and 3D design style ashtray mount because I prefer real gauges as well

Turner I say is sloppy because I like some symmetry and clean interior lines.
Having just sit in the middle of the vent looks a little goofy.
But I'm with you on real gauge over digital read out

I would also pass on the digital gauge.

ECS Tuning sells the same boost gauge:

Analog gauge needs to be rescaled... unless you plan on running your SC at or near 30 psi. Which would be frickin' awesome btw

IMHO on the S65 with FI, an AFR gauge is the most important, you have to keep that in check. This is not a crazy boost level turbo setup, but of course it's always good to know you are making the proper amount. I like keeping the boost and AFR gauge right next to each other, those vent gauges although nice, won't allow that. I wonder if it's possible to integrate an AFR reading with that vent gauge as well, that would be cool.

Yep, we can program the gauge to read from a wideband (lc-1 or equivalent) instead of a boost sensor... it cannot do both (yet).

We have also looked into doing this, for people that don't want a vent anymore:

Now that's nice!

At such low boost levels I'm not that concerned about the boost gauge, but it's always nice to know. You never know when you might have a bad seal or the belt starts slipping.
