Great, the MPE sounds awesome, I had it on my previous M3 but ended up switching it with the akra evo, wanted to add some more hp ...

Well turns out BMW ordered the express wax not the nano. I always take my cleaning kit with me but this time I didn't (staying at parents)

Got my new Dr.Beasly kit today, as the heavy soil remover which I had in the boot decided to empty itself, smells nice though!

Will update later on how I get on.

So tried the body wash and cleaner but no luck. Didn't want to use the seal in case it effected the wax. Bonnet is still really shiny and glossy so back to BMW for a fix.

The hood does not need a repaint, let's be clear on that. If it needs anything, it needs the matte clearcoat re-sprayed, which is what gives the base paint layer it's "Frozen" appearance.

Wouldn't the wax interfere with the clear coat? As surely that's not the process to begin with..

If they didnt polish it I dont think the matte coating has been affected, a few car washes with the matte shampoo and the shine will go away
My car went thru the same process, got it washed with a shampoo that contained wax, after a few car washes with the matte shampoo, the matte finishing came back
If they polished it then it is a different story....

Well good thing is they didn't polish it. Was just a bit disheartened after seeing no results. Will was again tomorrow, should I use the cleaner again and how much would you recommend? Cheers mate.

use one more time the cleaner on the spot where it is more shiny, it won't hurt the paint, just keep washing it, don't apply any nano wax or matte finishing until you get rid of the shiny coat you have right now, here is how my car looks when I am washing it, every time I wash it it looks more matte, it looked very shiny when those morons applied a car shampoo with wax, now the matte finishing is coming back, just don't panic mate!
