Anycom A2DP

Hi all,

I recently purchased a 2008 E92 M3 and have been researching A2DP connectivity. I believe that the easiest/most convenient way to allow A2DP from my iphone is to use the Anycom A2DP adapter. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any around... Does anyone know if this has been replaced by a more up to date product or where I can find one?

Thanks so much for your help

.

Thanks Kmarei. Does this allow you to control your iphone/ipod from your steering wheel? I have heard that the Anycom one does.

Thanks

Found something I think

I might have just found something which has replaced that Sprint FIPO adapter. Have it on order for $40. In theory you should be able to control through your idrive/steering wheel. Will let you know if this works or not.

Good call. I just remembered my USB port isn't available because I keep a flash drive in there 24/7. I'm sure it'd work with the micro USB car/phone charger I have as well.

I think these A2DP adapters are great in concept. But TOTAL garbage in reality.

I've tried cerulean iskin and the kanex adapter. Both have poor quality, are buggy, and constantly become unpaired.

I dont understand the people who produce these devices. If the quality isn't good, why bother? I've realized that until these devices come a long way, there is no reason to give up the quality and steering wheel control of the iPod aux in.

Never heard of either
I've tried the blackberry one
Great sound, Zero issues
Only reason I'm not using it, is my brother liked it to much, I gave it to him
Can't be bothered to order another one because my 2012 on the way has it standard
