Hey Ben,
Have been considering the Alpin PA4's this year to replace my old Blizzaks on my ASA Sport Wheels. I've also used Wintersport 3D's with success as well. Which out of the 3 would you recommend for performance and snow? I live in No. VA, so we typically don't get huge snow storms. Thanks.

Is there any way to make the Michelin Alpin PA4's fit on the stock 19" wheels that an e92 m3 has? I see that the front's are available, but I'm not sure which size could fit the rears, since the 265/35 isn't available according to your site? Thanks! |

Tire size 255/35R19 Michelin PA4 will fit the front 19X9 and rear 19X10 wheels. I can't get ahold of any this season but if you're able to find them elsewhere they will fit. The Blizzak LM32 is available in from us in that size now.

Gary,
Just purchased the special 275/45/19 for my 9.5" 19 rims Rear. Currently running a stretched 255/35/19 on the 9.5" rear. I know the 45 will be tall but will I have any trouble fitting these? Thanks. |

275/45R19 is much taller than we've fit on the E90 M3 without rubbing.

Bridgestone tells us that the LM32 can be used on the rear axle with LM60 on the front axle. Use size 255/35R19.

Now I see you have the Blizzak LM-32, I would like to order two fronts, but will this be okay with my current rear Blizzaks?

Technically that isn't an approved mix per Bridgesteon. If your LM60 tires have quite a bit of tread depth left (like 8/32nds or more) you could try the mixed setup with the LM32 tires up front to see how unstable it feels, buy four new LM32 tires all around, or check some of the other online shops for a matching LM60 such as Amazon, Ebay or other online tire shops.

So the LM60's can work on the front with the LM32's in the rear as you stated earlier, but not the other way around? Im trying to understand why, if they're compatible in the rear, why not in the front? I would be replacing both fronts, not just the one tire.

What do you guys think for wheels? I want something fairly affordable in 18", but that doesn't look like a lame-O winter wheel. Probably 8 or 8.5" width, trying to avoid staggered winter wheels!
I have to run these 5-6 months out of the year, so would prefer a wheels that looks like a quality aftermarket wheel, not an afterthought. |

Also, I should be looking at 235/40-18 for most winter wheels? Does it matter which wheel width I go with for this tire size? Seems like the most common size.

Best 18" Wheels
I recently purchased Blizzak LM-32 snow tires, staggered 255/40/18s and 235/40/18s.
What 18" wheels do you recommend to put these on? Preferredly, OEM ZCP style 359s. What is the optimum wheel widths and offsets for these?

Is there a better handling tire than the lm-32 out now? I havent looked in a couple years.
I liked its dry road handling performance. I'd like something similar or better in that regard with decent new snow traction too. Dont care about wet performance much. Thanks

Are Michelin PA4s available anywhere in the US in 255/40-18 or 265/40-18? I see TireRack has a listing for PA2s on closeout, but listed as out of stock. They also have the LM001s in 255/40-18.

Square setup on OEM 19" wheels
Would a set of Blizzak LM-32's or Dunlop Winter Sport 3D's at 255/35R19 work for the OEM 19" wheels, or would the rears look pretty stretched?
Trying to find a winter set using the OEM wheels, if possible. |
