For people who have been around here for a while I can understand that but when you are relatively new to m3post and attempting to elicit some information about a major purchase it can become frustrating.

I just saw 4 m3 today which is unusual for me. Usually i don't see much m3 around my neighborhood, most people drives mercedes and porsche. I saw three e93 m3 drove by some chicks and one of the license plate is "grl toy3" lol. I guess mostly chick drives e93

funny. I don't understand why ///m enthusiast are attacking each other. We should all be united against other commons foes, like the 1m, mustang 5.0, or other turbo ///marketing cars.

I drive an E90 and bash E93s on occasion, but have never claimed they weren't "real" M cars or anything like that. As for sexual orientation, I don't care at all who a driver chooses to sleep with. As for being a "real" man, I'm just a human, one person's real is another's poseur, I'm sure.

P.S. I do track my E90 when the opportunity arises, but motorcycles are where it's at for track use.

To be honest I have never seen a woman driving any E9X M3 ever. I just know one girl who owns an M3 back home and its an E92 6 speed. I think if I am ever next to her in my DCT car my penis will shrink to almost nothing

To the OP, don't let it bother you. You will notice the extra weight if you drive it back to back with a coupe or sedan but otherwise won't be a big deal. You get to drive around with the top down and get the full symphony of the S65 tagging along. I think the cars look great.

I had an E46 M3 vert that I drove for 5 years and loved it, got lots of compliments. Was just as much of an M3 as the coupe, just a little heavier. I know there is the "only chicks drive convertibles" stereotype but WGAS if you love your car. Wouldn't track a very but that is about the only downside.

First things first, let's remove the whole "gay" thing from this thread. That word should not be included in ANY of this discussion. OP, seriously - "gayness"?? To all the idiots who posted that not getting 6MT is "gay"...there are better routes to bash the DCT, or ...are there??

Anyway, on to the topic of the e93.

When looking forward, one must look at previous trends to assess the next move. Take a look at the e46m3 conv, when done right they will get just as much respect, awe, kudos, attention, driver satisfaction as the e46m3 coupe. As an e92 owner there are many e93M3 convertibles I drool over, hell there was an AW convertible with BBS wheels that basically sold me on the M3

BMW did a GREAT job with the e93M3, enjoy it, (if you love it) Only blind fan boys with inferiority complexes will make a big deal of something so minor.

The only 2 things that I don't really like about vert is 1: Can't change the seats since rollover protection is integrated (I love my Recaro Pole Positions) and 2: potential convertible top up/down issues if tracking with the roof down (I believe Sean had to get his roof adjusted after tracking top down one day, problem is alleviated if you just track with the hard top up anyways, so not a real concern).

if i get a chance ill take the E93 instead of my E92.... i drove my s2000 for 6 years and i love driving in a vert.
