Cruise Control Help

I have a 2008 e90 M3. Recently, the cruise control is not working correctly. When you set it, it does not give any errors, and appears to be working correctly. However, with the cruise control on, the vehicle slowly loses speed. Not as much as if you didn't have the cruise on and simply took your foot off the gas, it decreases about 1mph every 3-5 seconds. If left on without applying throttle, it will keep decreasing further and further, losing about 1 mph every few seconds. When going downhill, it is able to hold the correct speed. Going uphill it loses speed more quickly than it does on level ground. I have had the car scanned and there are no error codes at all.

Any ideas on what the issue could be??

Thanks!!
