About how many miles for MPE to 'break in' and

Become louder? I have read several reports of MPE owners reporting that their exhaust seems to get slightly louder after some time. Mine has maybe 2000 miles. Stock car otherwise.

my MPE cracked at 22k miles. Keep an eye out, you'll know when it happens.

I know, right? What question is that guy answering? Freaking pessimists. OP, I don't think it gets a ton louder honestly at this point. Just enjoy it.

My first one seemed to get a little louder at around 3k, I don't remember how long I had it on or the mileage before I noticed it. My recent one has been on for almost 6 months and I haven't really noticed any difference yet. Just sounds great out of the box. Oh, and no cracks here.

Did you have an xpipe or similar combo?

Thanks. I could not be happier w my MPE. Have only had one opportunity to do a cold start in a parking garage with the car backed in against the concrete wall. Friggin glorious.

I have warranty... the car came with the M performance exhaust on it off the showroom. Just be aware of what can/will happen especially you are buying it used.

Just found a crack in mine. Bought and installed at dealer. Covered under warranty. Drones a little at around 3k rpm now.
