The first option was dedicated to your "I'll get to the next red light first" mentality. I've seen the way you drive. You've got a heavy foot.

Here I thought I was doing a great job getting 200+. Some of you guys are straight Prius-ing your cars.

If you got real gas instead of the watered down shit in Cali you would get 300 too. I average 80-90 mph on the hwy, plus freezing cold thick air helps. No priusing here... My driving involves 90% highway though.

I get between 230 - 250 miles per tank (with the computer saying ~40 miles to empty).

Update. I now shift between 4-6000 and barely see 150miles per tank.

Exactly the same for me in city driving. And on the highway I never drive on the speed limit so it is juts a bit better.

When I owned E9X M3's......330-ish miles when babied (..with a quick speed run here and there). I'm looking to better that in my new ///M4.

Call me cheap, but I've never put a full tank of gas on any of my vehicles past 3 years.

Strange. I did the complete opposite and squeeze every last drop I can. The funny thing is I refill every week and the tank still has slightly over 1/4 left.

Bad habit from driving interstate competing in tarmac rallies where the Evo 9 barely makes the 200km journey without refueling.

I usually fill up before the light comes on so I don't think a tank is a proper measurement as some will take it further than others.

I average 12.1L/100km (19.4 mpg) none highway just booting around town and some back roads.

On a 3500km roadtrip I averaged 10 l/100km (23.5 mpg), and that was with several hours of 100mph stints.

Wonder what? How some can extract more miles than you can? The answer is easy: control of their right foot. The fact that you need to fill up "twice in one day" on occasion is the telltale sign.
