Also if we would have been allowed to run street class we would have placed very well either way Had this M3 been setup to run the track from the start with all the proper equipment, I am confident in myself and my driving we could have dropped a lot of time And yes Greg thanks for letting me use Challenge Facility to change everything, you did beat me you're fast....for someone whose won 1st place like 5 years in a row lol Last edited by Green///Hell; 06-15-2010 at 11:53 PM.. |

This is soo awesome at so many levels that it is not fair.. haha
How's the bolt-in cage holding up? seems like you had to remove your back seats partially, does it make the car a lot noisier? Is it completely reversible? Is it still drivable on a daily basis? Do you have plans to do a 4pt or 5pt harness with that bar? |

The cage is very nice actually with the fitment being spot on. I did have to remove my rear partially but it is all coming out. It does make the car nosier but that's to be expected. Exhaust interior noise will be louder due to no rear seat blocking noise and the side panels will not fit well without some customization with the roll bar so those are out. But until I get the closeout installed this will remain this way. It will be much cleaner later. We have a 6 point harness but the shoulder straps are for use with a HANS so because I didn't have the HANS it made sense to just use the 3 point belt as the straps would shatter my collar bones on impact without the HANS in the way All the modifications to my car are completely reversible and I still daily this car. I have other cars I could use but I get bored and still jump into this one With SC added and the Rollbar in the cars weight is still down to 3550 which isn't so bad mostly in part to the seats, with the full rear out it will be closer to 3400 which will be good for the rest of the season |
