Need advise/diy on window noise E92 M3

I did a lot of searches with different wording for window noise but I haven't found a fix yet. Typical search results in 12+ pages of unrelated threads

Symptoms: When driving 75mph+ both driver and passenger side windows sound like they're letting air in. Not sure how I can test it to narrow it down. I was initially thinking the seals are old but they all check out and are fresh/flexible. Driverside window is a little loose when the door is open but I'm not sure if the air flowing over the car will create suction to move the window. If thats the culprit, can I adjust the windows?

Additionally, I have a rattling noise from the seatbelt extensions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks in advance!!

Maybe the rubber seal on the window got a little hard. Try using some gummi pfledge on it. That might stop some wind noise attributed to the rubber seals. Just because they feel soft doesn't mean they're as soft as they used to be.

I talked to my brother about this. He is an ex-BMW mechanic. He said you needed to take off the door cover, and adjust the height of the window from inside the door. My brother is unfortunately on the other side of the world, so I am also looking for a DIY...

i have the same issue too, but it seems only on the passenger side. My car is a 2008 so the seals are probably hardened and oxidized a little.

Try a dollar bill test. Close the bill in the window between the seals, if you can slide it out easily in a spot, there is your leak. Gummi will NOT make the rubber "fatter". You either have a mis-aligned door striker (too far out), a mis-aligned window or the seal has gotten flat. Replacing the seal is both cheap and trivial, although, the new seals no longer have a flocked side, so if you replace one side, you'll want to do the other
