Exclamation M3 sedan official brochure pics leaked!!

EDIT: OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE and PHOTOS HERE ==> http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88095

Here are leaked photos from an official brochure of the new M3 sedan.

The main shot is large enough to appreciate how well the M3 style plays with the proportions of the 3-Series sedan, while the tiny pic gives us a profile comparison between the M3 coupe and sedan.

WOW! We need bigger pics of the side and rear! Please?

This looks even better than the coupe in some ways. This going is the best looking four door on the market, period, IMHO. I cannot wait to see this car in Detroit - with DCT!

I have favored the sedan over the coupe in this newest iteration of the ///M. I am DEFINITELY considering it, especially since I went from ///M3 coupe to sedan 330i. I've gotten used to the idea of 4 doors. Not to mention that the sedan has shown (...at least where the E46 was concerned) to have a slightly more capable chassis in terms of flex/rigidity. I want ///M sedan.....like....NOW!

...and I can keep my blacklines too.

I can see my options list now:
  • NAV
  • 6-speed
  • 19" wheels
  • IB, Jerez, or AW
  • Sunshades

///M speed cloth FTW
///M sunroof delete FTW
Aftermarket coilover suspension FTW

Sedan_Clan...happy....yes!

Just Me,

Great find, been reading the posts of this at GCZ. Any way to increase the size of the small photos?. I would like to see if there have been even slight changes to the tail lights.

Just noticed the wheels look different from the E92 M3. Hopefully the 18s will be different than the E92s as well.

Hmm, it's not blowing me away. Infact, it's further confusing matters. The sedan and coupe look different and now the sedan has the coupe front. Also, they still havent changed the rear lights. They could have at least given it whitelines...

I seen the E92 M3 at dealership today and although it did look better this time, it still isnt convincing me. It looks like BMW stubbornly set out to change every body panel. So you see things like elephant ear mirrors and the huge powerdome. I dunno about you guys but I expected better. I just wanted it to blow me away like the E46 did. Infact, I've seen a few E46's in the last few days and they look amazing still!

Oh yeah and the rear is what I hate most about the M3. Looking down on it, it doesnt look so bad. But looking at it from a slight distance it looks terrible. Even worse when it's on the road driving away from you. All you see is a fussy diffuser with quads. Infact from a distance you cant even make out the design on the mesh. I think a more simple design would have worked better.

On a more positive note, I do like the side skirt and wheels. Melbourne Red is beautiful...I think I'd still take SSII or Interlagos though...

Here they are enlarged; not very sharp, though.

I'm not so sure, ruff. The pics are tiny, but they look like the same 10-spoke 220M's, just in a little different lighting.

At this point I am very doubtful of this. I think the E90 facelift spy-pics on E90post are what we'll see. I.e very minor changes.

Since when has the coupe/sedan looked the same? Even the E36 coupe/sedan looked noticeably different. I agree that they could have added the blacklines, but hey, it's a $200.00 mod; easily changed, and not a deal breaker one way or the other.

People complained about the E46 ///M mirrors at various times too (..too big, viewing angle not satisfactory, etc.). It seems that with every iteration there will be detractors who complain in the beginning, then grow to love the car.

Ok bro, what car can you accurately make out the mesh design from a distance? I think you're looking for any reason to criticize the car.
