Thanks for the weights and they looks great. I think the consensus is that the stock setup is not as heavy as it was made out to be.

I think the new brakes look great!

One question, though, and probably a dumb one, but I'll ask it anyway. I've always seen slotted rotors set up so the angled slots "pull" the pads toward the center of the rotor as they slide past the pad in the caliper. Yours are set up to "push" the pads away from the hub and up into the caliper.

Are you positive the rotors are on the correct sides? If these were Stoptech they'd definitely be the wrong way around.

As for the orientation of the rotors, the slots don't really say much. It's the direction of the internal cooling vanes between the rotor surfaces that matter. The internal vanes need to pull air through the rotor from inside to outside. Project Mu might have their rotors set up different than the Stoptech set. The picture below shows another Euro Mevius set installed on an M3 with the same orientation.

You are correct - the vanes are what matters. If they're right, the rest doesn't matter.

We just added PMU Euro Mevius brake kit to our product line, feel free to give us a call with any question.

Chompion,

Those brakes looks awesome behind the Volks! Any plan of taking your car to the track?

I know this thread is kind of old, but I never saw these posts for some reason. Anyway, here are a couple of more recent pics.

Thanks Simon! I wish I would have known you were a supplier... I just ordered the rears. Yeah, I definitely plan on tracking my car. Sadly, I haven't had the chance yet. Let me know if there are any track days coming up or anything.
