GTFO.
You registered today to piggy back on HRE and give plug to COR? Who the F is COR anyways. If anything they just look like a copy of ADV1.

COR is the real deal that's who they are. They are in the same business as MHT and own the lathe/cnc machines that are used to cut for many companies out there.

Since they are the manufacturer, they don't spend very much time advertising just like how you don't see MHT spending $$$ on advertising either.

I have no idea why Active Autowerke partnered with ADV that potentially hurt Active's reputation.

I'll feel more safe with VMR than ADV....

Alhough COR has a mill and lathe they are not in the same ballpark as HRE or MHT or even ADV1.

MHT advertises probably more than anyone just not in this market. You know they make DUB spinners, Davin streetspin, and MHT forged. These are all machined on cnc machines.

I will say this just because you own a couple cnc machines does not make your wheels better than someone who does not.

Alot of what makes the wheels is the components used along with the engineering and finally the finish quality and how long it lasts.

One of the above 3 things is what potentially caused the failure in this thread. The question is does it fall on ADV1 or a supplier. They have definatly made a fair offer to rectify the situation.

I've always had a problem with all these million companies making wheels. It seems like you are no better off then just buying cheap replicas, at least those wouldn't burn holes in your pockets. It boggles my mind with all these people buying $7-10,000 wheels from companies that have been in business for 5 years or less. Either they are secretly being given away or there are more stupid people out there giving away their cash than expected. Furthermore, I would never EVER buy wheels from Jordan or a company which he is involved with. YET people continue to just surrender their money like idiots and then complain that they feel duped. Continue to make videos wearing Piquets that these suckers have basically bought for you.

Why does it matter how long a company has been in business as related to the price you pay?

A small percentage of defects exist in most manufactured products.

I know the following are different instances but goes to show this sort of stuff happens.

Here's HRE
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=331067
http://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/3...monoblock.html

I'm not bashing HRE either but it just goes to show that it happens.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's wheels but I bent and cracked 22x12 wheels on my x5 before. I still run 22s regardless because they look good.

Every wheel company has failures.

EDIT - I should add that although those statements were made by a very well respected instructor and member of Audiworld, I do not believe they were ever adequately substantiated.

Nevertheless, it is not difficult to find instances of HRE wheel failures...or really any manufacturer for that matter.

I know that Kinesis had catastrophic failure(s) during a racing event.

Eugene,

Jordan posted his direct line on page 10 in his response to the issues you're having - regardless as you still seem still unhappy with the level of customer service please contact me at matt@adv1wheels.com so I have the best email address for you and I will update you personally on this order daily until it is resolved.

They are replacing the part AFTER the warranty had expired
And if you don't have stock, you don't have stock
Irrespective of the urgency of the failure, you still don't have stock

Had they said the warranty is expired sorry
I would have understood this even of animosity from you guys

Shit fails
Have people stopped buying 335i after the HPFP issues?
As long as the manufacturer rectifies the issues, I'm ok with that.
If you want the ultimate safety, maybe riding on 22s isn't exactly the best option
Stick with OEM

No offense to the OP
But if I'm worried about safety, and I want the ultimate reliability?
I would not go to after market wheels
Simple as that
+100... there are so many ADV.1 haters that don't even listen to logic...

Actually, most will tell you the exact opposite. If what you just said were the case, picking stocks would be damn easy. Likewise, no entrepreneurs would *ever* succeed. Almost every entrepreneur fails in his first venture - tons of stats to back that up - just google it.

Not talking stocks - talking customer service & product. Don't see many if any threads of people bitching about ADVAN, BBS, HRE's Volks...Find plenty of people bitching about ADV1's & 360 forged. Clear pattern -
