What is there to do in Nassau?

We have a family trip coming up to Nassau, Bahamas. Staying at Atlantis. What is there to do there? The last time (about 8-9 years ago) we didn't see or do much. It's mainly beaches and swimming pools.

Can you guys give some tips/advice on things to do there that don't cost a fortune please? TIA!

Drink, gamble, swim, lay out, get sunburned, come home.

Or go into town and spend $$$ on crap. Maybe buy a fake Rolex.

I suppose you could golf if you're into that.

Get a cab and go eat at the fishfry(a strip of seafood restaurants nearby). Twin Brothers is the name of the place we ate at. Traditional fish. Not fancy at all.

Otherwise, go across the street and buy booze at the off premises liquor store, get drunk and stare at the mommies in bikinis.

What do you mean? Plenty of single chicks around. Show up in great shape, get a nice tan; start tagging and bagging.

Those are literally the only things I have in mind. And maybe fishing and some gambling (not a big gambler).

Thanks for that! Read some reviews but thought it was a restaurant. Didn't know it was a whole strip.

Bristol Cellars is the liquor place right? I will be making a stop there for sure.

I had no idea they even had that. Overall, most of the Caribbean is not like Hawaii. I mean there are beaches and pools but in Hawaii there are natural things to see and do. I tried to get people to go to Maui but majority rules so I lost. Hehe
