My car is IN PRODUCTION right now (status 150-confirmed by 800# representative twice) as of yesterday but the BMWUSA website still shows my car as On Order! The automated system (800#) said my status is still 112 (scheduled for production with no production date)....BMWs information systems are so behind!

I also ordered a car the first week of August, and am still sitting at 112 status... scheduled for production with no confirmed production date. Haven't spoken to a customer service rep yet to inquire about my build week. I'm trying not to let the wait bug me.

Looking forward to the car. Ordered a e90, Space Gray / Black (w/carbon), ZCP, ZCV, ZP2, Enhanced Premium Sound, and Heated Seats.

Oh, this is my first post here but I'm been reading this forum for a long time. Last M car was an 2002 e39 M5... can't wait to take delivery of this one... hopefully it'll be in October.

I'm in status 112 as well, ordered on 08 SEP 10. The dealer told me to expect the standard 6-8 weeks.

I ordered my car on July 31. Then the factory shut down for August so I am still at 112 . I called the 800 number and they told me I am scheduled for week 38. The 3rd week of September, which means the car won't be here until end of October, probably November. Not too happy with the wait but I am sure it will be worth it.

I'm a week 38 as well. Waiting through August had to be a killer, but you're right, the first drive will be a sweet one. Then you just have to wait for your 1,200 mile service so you can really experience what it's all about...

Ordered first week of August, and just found out that I'm a week 39 build. Automated system at 800-831-1117 told me 112 status with no known production date, but customer service rep was able to help. Glad the wait is nearly over!

The 800 number has started transferring me to a representative whenever I request my production status. Any idea why? Does this happen to anyone else?

I'd initially put in an order on August 21st. I had to go back to the dealership on August 27th to redo the contract because BMW switched all the packages around. Not sure if I kept the allocated slot when I initially ordered on the 21st.

I just called the 800 number and they said I'm scheduled for week 39 build (Sept 26th to Oct 2nd).

Same here...during normal business hours. Off hours I still get the automated response.
Hasn't helped though...the phone reps I've gotten don't know anything other than what I already know "scheduled for production, with no confirmed production date yet".

Just called 800 number- says "vehicle is in production with an expected completion date of September 17th". It should be completed before that though since it went into production on 09/09 at 10:36am EST and it only takes 30hrs for the M3 to be built....that puts the completion at TODAY!

I was told by a customer rep at the 1-800 number that I had a week 39 build (I believe that is week starting Sept. 27), but found out today from the automated system that my build will be complete on Sept. 22nd. So definitely keep calling the 1-800 number.

My estimated completion went from Sept 18th to Sept 20th. What's up with that?

It moves. The system originally said Sept 7th then went to the 6th for quite a while before moving back to the 7th. Go figure...

Yahoo my original production week was week 35 which is way gone. As of 2days ago my vert was given a week 38 build and as dealer said Vin should be given as soon as production starts. This experience has sucked big time. Well if it starts being produced in week 38 ,just maybe I will get it before October comes to an end. This is the best news I have gotten from BMW in 6 weeks.

I think I am so happy right now I think that with a few of you that we been trying to help or support each other, I think I would give you all a man hug :-).
