Throttle..Quick question
I notice that the throttle response was more sensative on my E46 then my new E92. Not sure if my M settings are for best response but this is what I have: S-5, sport and power = sport +. Power button is on. Is there a way to make the throttle a little more responsive? Im still in the break-in period so have not been able to push the car.

It's configured in Idrive and I do press the M. Dont know why, but feels less responsive, maybe will feel better after I can fully push the car to 8K.

I think you should concentrate on changing your profile to reflect the car you drive rather than trivial matters such as an unresponsive throttle. |

Honestly. It was a funny, no, humourous attempt to say "hey, don't forget to change your profile". Really, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I just worry for people in your presence if somebody ever spilt your drink. |

agree with the op's first statement...the e92 throttle is significantly less responsive to that of the e46 m3 throttle..no questions asked...regardless of what mode you're in. this is especially true if you've driven the e46 m3 in sport mode all the time like i did. does take some getting use to, but the e92 version is overall much quicker.

try going to key dependent settings and putting edc to sport plus and power on sport. It might be other way around. I thought that helped significantly

That's what I was saying. I always drove my E46 in sport mode and I guess I expected the same throttle response in the E92. But your right it is quicker. Will try the key dependent settings like you said, it might help.
BTW: South, thanks for that quick definition. Sometimes I do make an ass out of myself and have no problems admitting it. |
