Exhaust help

My car has an AA rear section and I'm looking to do an xpipe. Id like it to be a bit louder but not drone. A little bit is fine but nothing excessive. Im also looking for that high pitched f1 type sound. Any recommendations on which x pipe to get? Resonators/no resonators? Thanks!

I am not sure what you mean by a f1 sound. But if you want to a bit more of a rumble and no drone you can go with a "street" type setup. You will use your stock cats to the setup.

This guy wants a god damn screamer! Someone give this man the IPE F1.

I'm not to much of a fan, as it takes away the grumbly V8 noise, but if you want the F1 screamer, the IPE F1 is a bad little bitch

Sign me up also for a magical exhaust that is loud, has an F1 sound, and zero drone.....

Back to reality.... You have to buy a full IPE or Kreisseg exhaust system for an F1 sound.

Which set up was that?

I have a full IPE I am very happy with.

I think the problem is the E92 is approaching E46 status as far as 3rd and 4th hand buyers. I would only expect low ball offers if I were to sell my mods on here.

Love that exhaust. Is the drone terrible? It's out of my price range anyway. Looking for something similar but prob a bit quieter.

Just getting test pipes/primary cat delete does open up the AA exhaust a bit more, at higher RPM it will let your presence be known.

On side note, *makes it much more difficult to evade police*

I have never heard them in person, but people on here seem very happy with the Macht Schnell test pipes.

Custom X pipe and Hartge rear muffler. Silent while cruising yet very loud under WOT and very high pitched. And not made in Taiwan!
