I don't like it when car companies have too many models.

IMO, BMW should ditch the 1 series hatch and vert (only keeping the coupe), the upcoming X1, X3 and X6.

yea it is getting a bit ridiculous with all this speculation on possible new models in the lineup. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 Series?!?! Plus the X1, X3, X5, X6?!?!? and the Z1, Z3, Z5?!?!! Im sure I am missing something as well....why BMW? WHYYY!?!?!?!

I heard about the 4 series, but is there really going to be a Z1 and Z5?

Well I read it somewhere on the forums....something about the Z1 being built on the new 1-series platform and the Z5 will create the opportunity to increase the size of the Z roadsters

Haha what can I say!! I wanted you to pull up on my left and race me but you didnt .

So after listening to Yusef (hope thats how you spell your name) talk about the maps on jb3, I threw mine into map 4 instead of 5 cuz 5 has lagfix. It has more of a kick now when the turbos kick in its a little funner to drive like that but im sure its not as efficient. I went out to santa rosa on the new pavement and did a few runs, I think I just fell in love with my car all over again. New mods coming next week hopefully, I kind of want to go VBox with you guys next time and see how my 1er stacks up versus mikes 335is

Oh, I wish you would have told me that you wanted to race before we left... not like I would have won lol.

On my way home, I turned off the DSC and it's actually pretty easy to get the car to break loose.

You should have seen the Z4 with LC and JB4 lol

I did an (unofficial) 4.4 0-60 using JB4 Alpha Map 1 (equal to Map 3 boost increase on JB3)

maybe. remember DCT shifts faster than auto, and we are talking tenths of a second

either way, 4.4 4.6 4.7

you don't even feel a tenth of a second...

my m3 feels much slower off the line but not slower overall

4.4 huh Adam??? Hehe

Dct shfts fast but def less of that fun doing wild stuff. I used to get my dads older m3s sideways shifting into 2nd. With less than 350hp... With a stick you can do a lot more fun stuff with a lot less power. I used to peel out in 3rd at like 50mph in my integra just for fun!
