BMWNA

When I called and give my production number to the automated system it says my car is scheduled for production with no production date confirmed. Now I talked to someone at BMWNA and gave them my production number and they said my car was in production and should be done by June 17. I dealer told me the car would start production in July. Has anyone experienced where the automated system says one thing and a person at BMWNA says something else?

Thanks

yes perfectly normal. When i placed the order for my car the automated system told me confirmed for production with no date but i spoke to BMWNA customer relations and they had a confirmed week for me. The automated system only updates when the car is about to go into production and the BMW owners circle website is even slower than the automated system.

I have also experienced this. THe automated system does not give you the most up do date info/most accurate. For the most accurate info talk to your CA or the customer rep.

Yes, like the others posted above, the automated system lags behind what is actually happening....

BMW NA really needs a new automated system so that customers waiting for cars to be produced can get up to date information without having to talk to a live person.

A automated system that lags days behind what is actually occuring doesn't satisfy many folks.

Automated email updates to my inbox on status changes would be nice as well.

Remove your vehicle from the Owner's circle and add it again with the same production number and your vehicle will be updated correctly.

I had a similar experience, except the BMWNA person said the car was complete (3 weeks ahead of schedule), the guy didn't believe it (e90 w/DCT produced in mid May) so he logged out of the system, and logged back in. The second time he pulled my car up it said scheduled for production, week 22. Bummer that it wasn't produced, but glad to hear it was scheduled.

Not true.

I've had an E93 on order since 26 April. Originally, the car showed up as a 2006 Jet Black 530i Sedan. That stayed in the system for about a month (regardless of how many times I added and deleted) then, recently, it switched to being a Melbourne Red Metallic M3 Convertible. That's STILL not my car, but at least it's the right model year and designation. When I delete the car and add it again, the same model appears (Melbourne Red Metallic M3 Convertible). Clearly not the color I ordered. I phoned BMWNA and my CA and both sources confirm my order is for a JZB E93 with FR interior.

This whole order tracking process blows ass.
