Thanks...having the big gaping hole in the living room for Thanksgiving Day is something I'll always remember.

Of course...it's probably because the wife will never let me forget it

Correct its a yasha goby i think from Indonesia it was the coolest fish I've ever had. Usually around $50-75 at the fish store.

AHha I used to have a 13 red belly piranha in my big tank.. People used to gasp at the thought of a man eating fish in a tank. Man my clown fish would tear them up they were scared of their own shadow.

Mine was just a spotted goby...looks very similar in the head...but little different in the tail section.

So what size reef is that? Those are really nice purple gorgonians in the front...I could never get them to grow. Tried a couple times with failure.

Here's my old setup. I keep thinking about getting some type of cube going as I still have a nearly new 2' sunlight tech light setup that I refuse to realize a loss on. I just need something remotely self-contained. Any ideas?

I actually found them floating at a sandbar while on my jet ski one day. I find that odd that you could not get them to grow or live for that matter.. They are the toughest coral I have ever encountered to be honest they literally get tortured in my tank getting burned by other corals falling over all the time and they always pop right back in 1-2 days. I frag them all the time for friends since they do so well with healing.

Im very happy with my bio cube this is my 3rd one. This time I went with a nano customs version though. depending on how much you have to spend I can suggest some other higher end tanks.

What size tank range arou looking for ? Do you want curved glass frameless square?

My personal favorite would be a overflow limitless tank.

Who makes those? I have two very high end aquarium stores that carry those types of tanks but they charge a large premium (both stores located in Greenwich CT). If I can order them online and save a few bucks that would be huge. My problem has always been keeping everything somewhat self contained, not plumbed from another room.

If you're asking about the tanks that overflow over all the edges creating a "cube of water" look then they aren very expensive. The stores might not be selling them at too much of a mark up. The small ones (under 20 gallons) are over $1000. You can try all in one (AIO) tank, they keep everything contained in the footprint of the tank. Some companies like elos($$$) sell complete packages. They are pricey but they are at the top when it comes to quality.

Don't get me wrong....I really like the idea of those, but I heard they're a bitch to keep clean.

That 'cadlights' site you list still sporting a 'Happy Holiday's' logo on their main page. Being mid August...I'm not sure I'd trust that site.
