For ones without iDrive, where and how have you mounted your Garmin or TomTom?

I have been going back and forth on mounting my Garmin or TomTom (have two at the moment.)

I do not want it down low by the ash tray - too far down to look. I failed to mount it on my vent using Arkon, it just was not secure. Any other ideas and pictures as to what people have done?

Yes, I know. I should have gotten iDrive!!!

They also have the special mount that has a ball at the end
That fits into the gamin holder

I don't use my Garmin much. When I do, I use this... Very happy with it.

I like the idea of real time traffic feeds Garmin and tomtom now provide. But I would need the device on to be alerted.
