Please Help- Angle Eyes
What's goin on everyone. I am currently getting my car modified and need help picking out a good set of Angel Eyes. I want a set that is bright white and has a small tint of blue. Could you please recommend a good brand that has what I'm looking for?
Its a 2011 E92. I heard that the LUX AA heat up on 2010+ models. p.s. Here are the mods I am getting: -Frozen grey paint job - Satin powder coated rims (ZCP Rims) -Red and black oem brake calipers -Oem exhaust mod (muffler bypass) -CF side vents, grill, bmw badges, performance rear spoiler/front splitters -Vorsteiner Hood -Wrapping the roof in CF as it is a sunroof Last edited by MPower326; 01-25-2013 at 02:58 PM.. |

I have the LUX 5000k on my IB M3 sedan and love them. I installed them about 2.5 months ago and have had no problems with them. True plug n play and pure white

First post or not, the info is already here. Use the forum as a tool and you will find most anything out there. The car has been out since 2008 in the US. Likely, most questions have been answered. Everyone wants to be catered to...geez.

FYI, the LUX are NOT the brightest you can buy. Both replacement rings and HID setups will outshine them all day long.

I wouldn't recommend HID for angel eyes because they will cause your rings to yellow overtime due to heat:

I switched from Alpine to LUX. Had some iffy customer service from Alpine as well.
Also, even if it's isolated, I'm not taking a chance on yellowing. And at night the HID kits = a blob of light. Sure, they are bright, but I got complaints from guards at the military bases I drove into to turn my headlights off, when only the angel eyes were on. Can't be bothered to turn DRL's off every time I come into the gate. LUX was the best for me. Bright enough, but not so bright that it turns into a blob of light when the headlights are on too, and very easy to install (no wires coming out of the headlight housings).
